Meshes! Render time was 1,309 s using 64 threads on 2 cores @ 2.8GHz on my Macbook Pro 2008.

Multisampled

Some extra scenes. The first is a room scene. The second scene shows a fish in a bowl, with overlapping geometry with specified priorities. The third shows overlapping spheres, where the priority is from front to back.

This scene shows embedded objects. In the first image the index of refraction of the containing box is 1.8 while the index of refraction of the embedded objects is 1.5. In the second image the indices are reversed. For the third everything has IOR = 1.5. The colors are from absorption only.
